The 2024 Tahoe has a large three-row cabin with seating for seven to nine passengers, depending on the configurations. There is enough head and legroom throughout for adults to feel comfortable no matter where they are seated, and the ergonomic seats are cushy and supportive. The standard model features cloth upholstery, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, an eight-way power-adjustable passenger seat, remote start, keyless open, and a wrapped steering wheel. Bumping up to the LT trim treats drivers to a sport Jet Black interior with red contrast stitching. The base model features a 355-horsepower 5.3-liter V8, while a 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 power is available. The third engine is a 277-horsepower turbodiesel engine that generates an impressive 460 lb-ft of torque. All three engines are paired with a slick-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission, and the base model ships with rear-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is available. When equipped with the trailering package, the Tahoe has enough oomph to tow up to 8,400 pounds.
The technology packed into the Tahoe cabin is one of the areas where it shines. The dash features an available 10.2-inch touch screen and a 12-inch digital gauge cluster.
