The 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer is lightly refreshed for the 2024 model year, featuring new equipment both inside and out and an updated exterior design. The front fascia has been updated with sleeker LED headlights that mirror those of its big brother, the 2024 Blazer. A set of new wheel designs also enhance the exterior appearance, as well as two new color options. Under the hood, the Trailblazer carries over the fuel-efficient powertrain options from the 2023 model, while inside, the dash is adorned with new, larger infotainment and digital gauge clusters.
The Trailblazer is a subcompact SUV, but the spacious interior has segment-leading head and legroom throughout. Its two-row interior has seating for five, with plenty of room for all passengers to stretch out on longer trips. The 2024 Trailblazer has four trim levels – LS, LT, ACTIV, and RS. The base trim features premium cloth upholstery, while the ACTIV and RS trims have Evotex seating surfaces, heated front seats, a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a power driver seat. The LT trim has deep-tinted window glass for privacy and additional temperature control. Those with children will appreciate the two full sets of LATCH connectors on the rear outboard seats and the tether anchor in the center seat.
The Trailblazer does a great job of maximizing space inside the small SUV. Behind the rear seat is a 25.3 cubic-foot cargo area. The 60/40 split second-row seats fold flat, expanding the cargo area to 54.4 cubic feet. Drivers can also fold the front passenger seat flat to accommodate longer items. The 2024 Trailblazer has two available powertrain options. The base model ships with a 137 horsepower turbocharged 3-cylinder engine that generates 162 lb-ft of torque and is married to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The ACTIV and RS trims come with an ECOTEC® 1.3-liter turbocharged engine that churns out 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque. The ECOTEC engine is married to a slick-shifting nine-speed automatic transmission. Both engines provide enough power for driving around town and cruising down the highway.
