The HUMMER EV SUV has a ruggedly modern design that features a tech-heavy dashboard. In the center of the dash is a large, horizontal touchscreen for the infotainment system, and a second display sits behind the steering wheel.
There are two trim levels – 2X and 3X. The large cabin in both seats five adults with plenty of leg, head, and elbow room throughout. The 2X trim features leatherette upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and a heated steering wheel. Leather-stitched surfaces and bronze accents are included in the 3X.
If you need to install child safety seats, you can do so with two sets of LATCH connectors on the rear outboard seats and a tether anchor on the middle seat.
The HUMMER EV SUV has a huge cargo space with 35.9 cubic feet of space behind the second-row seats and 81.8 cubic feet behind the first row.
The Exterior of the EV SUV has the same boxy silhouette it’s always had, but instead of the old-school, rounded headlights the HUMMER wore in the early aughts, the new HUMMER EV SUV features a more modern LED light bar across the front facia with the letters “H U M M E R” etched into the light. The Infinity Roof comes with four removable panels, which you can store under the cargo floor. Removing the panels gives you an open-air experience. Transparent Sky Panels are also available to allow you to view the world around you without removing the roof and IBAR.
To load and unload all of your gear, the SUV features a power swing gate you can open using your key fob. Extra storage is also available in a front eTrunk™ that offers 11.3 cubic feet of additional space and features a 12-volt power outlet.
For going off-road, the HUMMER EV SUV protects the undercarriage with steel plates and shields around the drive unit and battery pack. Skid plates, rocker protectors, and fun underbody armor are available in the Extreme Off-Road Package. Other HUMMER EV SUV exterior features include an integrated recovery hook, off-road bumper, assist steps, wheel flares, and an array of standard and available wheel designs.

The Hummer EV SUV offers two powertrain options: the EV2X features a dual-motor setup with 625 horsepower and about 1,000 to 1100 lb-ft of torque. The EV3X includes three motors – one in the front and two in the rear – delivering 830 horsepower and similar torque estimates. Both configurations claim impressive capabilities, but real-world torque numbers are lower than GMC’s marketing figures. The SUV’s shorter wheelbase (126.7 inches) enhances maneuverability compared to the pickup version. Off-road features include four-wheel steering with CrabWalk, Extract mode for air suspension, and an optional Extreme Off-Road package with 35-inch tires, underbody protection, and enhanced axles.
